THE PHILOSOPHY

Training that gradually gets more intense.

At Antacalcio, adult football is a journey: if you’re starting from zero you grow without forcing it, and if you already play you’ll find a rhythm and intensity to match. Our method combines professionalism, injury prevention and the joy of the game.

“Well-organised training, zero stress: the pleasure of playing and sweating on the pitch, with method.”
— The Antacalcio spirit

Gradual progress

Progressive loads and attention to everyone’s physical condition. Even if you haven’t played for years, the level adapts to you: a proper warm-up, injury prevention and tailored intensity so you can return to the pitch without fear of getting hurt.

Inclusion

Men and women over 40, 50 and 60, with no competition and no pressure. You don’t need recent experience: all that matters is the desire to get back in the game. The pitch belongs to everyone, and everyone finds their place in the group.

Fun

Playing football like when you were a kid: engaging sessions led by experienced coaches, with the small-sided game as the centrepiece. Zero stress, plenty of organisation and sweat on the pitch.

How a cycle works

Training outline: 20 minutes of warm-up and preparation, 20 minutes of ball work, 20 minutes of small-sided games

Every session lasts an hour and is built with the same balance: a careful warm-up to prepare the body, technique and possession drills to regain confidence with the ball, and the final small-sided game — the moment everyone looks forward to, where the game becomes pure fun again.

Training is led by qualified coaches who adjust the intensity to the group. Those returning after years away and those who never stopped train side by side, each at their own pace. On Mondays there is also a course dedicated to adult goalkeepers, with a specialist coach.

What you need to get started

A non-competitive sports medical certificate is required. Registration is completed online in a few minutes, and you can pay at the end of registration by bank transfer, credit card or Klarna. January cycle: once a week €350, twice a week €600. Limited places.

Because at heart, our method comes down to this: the joy of rediscovering the game.

THE ANTA-WORKOUT

One hour, three phases, all supervised by the coaches

Two cycles a year: autumn (mid-September to December, 13–14 weeks) and winter/spring (late January to mid-June, about 20 weeks), plus extra sessions such as the summer course. On 7-a-side pitches or half of an 11-a-side pitch.

Athletic activation (max 20')

A proper warm-up to reduce the risk of injury. Over the course of the cycle it evolves: first regaining fitness and prevention, then consolidating body awareness, and finally building endurance, strength and speed — always respecting gradual progress and everyone’s limits.

Drills with and without the ball (max 20')

Strength and endurance work: slalom with sprints, small-area situational games, individual technique.

Final match (about 20')

The moment everyone looks forward to, followed by static stretching. Everyone trains according to their own abilities, physical condition and any injury history.
